The Nutcracker 2025
CT Dance School will be holding three full-length performances of its holiday classic, The Nutcracker on December 13th & 14th at The Regina A. Quick Center at Fairfield University. This festive 2025 production will feature over 100 CDS students from all over Fairfield County. Audiences will be entertained to most everything a Nutcracker connoisseur looks for, twirling snowflakes, a Mouse Queen and a magical Sugar Plum Fairy!
Our Sunday 1pm performance (only) is Sensory Friendly, including our CDS Dance 4All Abilities students and their CDS Dance Buddies. Our D4AA program adapts dance education to neurodivergent students with challenges such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, or varying physical abilities. The performance environment is friendly, supportive and non-judgmental for patrons of all ages, with or without sensitivity or sensory processing challenges. Accommodations include environmental adjustments to sound effects and house and stage lighting. Patrons, with staff assistance, may enter or exit the theater during the performance, and the lobby will host a quiet activity area. This way, all may share the joy of live dance, together in the theater!
Nutcracker 2025 will commemorate our 31st production. The Nutcracker has become a time-honored tradition and a wonderful way to celebrate the season.
Connecticut Dance School is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit classical ballet school located in Fairfield, CT and 2025 marks our 55th year in existence. Please help us for the next 50 years by making a donation. Thank you.
