Classes
Children's Division (Ages 3 - 8)
Discover the joy of dance. Our warm and age-appropriate instruction develops students' coordination, musicality, and strength. Our carefully selected teachers nurture students as they gently learn the fundamentals of ballet.
Academy Division (Ages 8 - 18)
All students are welcome as they move on to formalized ballet training in a safe, encouraging environment. All our highly qualified faculty are certified in the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. We focus on developmentally appropriate training that is healthy for both the bodies and minds of our students.
Pre-Professional Division (Ages 11 - 18)
These optional, additional classes are for students who would like to commit more time to ballet. Our goal is to give students the tools they need to go into college dance programs or companies if they so choose.
Boys' Ballet
This boys-only ballet class is open to any boy interested in trying ballet, regardless of prior experience. Our supportive classes are taught by male Educational Director, Chihwan Kim. Scholarships for boys are available for those that wish to enroll in our Academy Division classes.
Other Forms of Dance
At CDS, we hope to foster children’s natural joy in movement into a lifelong love of dance. Classes in contemporary, hip-hop, and teen theater are fun, energetic, and upbeat. Students can also take Progressing Ballet Technique to help with body conditioning and injury prevention.
Dance 4 All Abilities
This adaptive dance program is for children facing various challenges. It provides small, fun group dance classes using creative movement principles and modified ballet technique. It allows dancers with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and varying physical abilities to engage, explore, and express themselves in dance.
Adult Ballet
Open to adults of all ages, this program is a great way to continue ballet training, stay in shape, and have fun.
