In years past, Connecticut Dance School has held six performances of The Nutcracker, two full-length performances, as well as four shortened performances for area school children, including one that is sensory friendly (view our Sensory Friendly Nutcracker page for more information on this performance).

In 2020 we re-imagined this holiday tradition. The Nutcracker, A Tale Retold was performed at CDS in our new Alan Woodard Black Box Theatre. The performance was videotaped and edited to a half-hour performance and premiered on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 4pm.
